Supports remote start from your factory transmitter by pressing the LOCK button on your remote 3 times, or LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK (Choice provided when ordering). Includes an OEM grade T-harness for a faster plug & play installation. Can be plug & play upgraded with any of the Prestige or Pursuit Z-Series Long-Range remotes packages or the Voxx CarLink Smartphone control interface (each sold separately) at any time during or after installation.

• The GM10-VSS Remote Starter is Activated using your existing Factory Keyless Entry Remotes:
  Since the remote starter works/activates using your OEM remotes, the remote starter activation range will be exactly the same as the range you have now when locking and unlocking the vehicle. • Step-by-Step Illustrated Installation Guide:
  All the installation information you'll need is included in with the system. No internet access, downloads, or account creation is required. 
   
• Only 1-Key Required for Programming:
  The GM10-VSS system is easily programmed to your Savanna using just one of the vehicle's keys to turn the ignition ON when following the 3 easy programming system-to-vehicle steps.
   
• Heat/Defrost/AC Activation: 
  Preheat/Defrost or Pre-cool your Interior: Just preset your HVAC settings where you want them and the system will activate them a few seconds after the vehicle is running by the remote starter.
   
• OEM Heated Seats Activation:
  In vehicles equipped with OEM heated seat's options, the system has the ability to activate OEM heated seat controls when the module's onboard temperature sensor drops below 1 of the 5 preset degrees. Choice provided during checkout. (Option OFF choice for vehicles in consistent warmer climates).
   
• Key-Takeover Feature: 
  The remote starter remains running after the driver's door is opened: Upon entering the vehicle, when you turn on the ignition and step on the brake to shift into gear, the remote starter will automatically shut off but the vehicle will remain running normally with the key, no need to restart the vehicle.
   
• 7 Remote Start Run Times to Choose from: 
  Choose from 3, 5, 10, 15 Standard, 25, 30, 35 minutes. If you would like more or less run time you can indicate this in the drop-down menu while placing your order.
   
• DIESEL Engines Compatible:
  When ordered for a Diesel, the system will be preprogrammed with its automatic "Ignition ON Delay B4 Start/Crank" monitor to allow for proper glow-plug warming.
   
• Open Hood and Brake Pedal Shut-Down for Safety & Security:
  If someone was to enter the vehicle while the vehicle is running by the remote starter, and they stepped on the brake pedal without turning the ignition on first with a key, the remote starter will immediately shut down. And, for safety reasons, the vehicle cannot be remote started when the vehicle's hood is open.
   
• CHOICE of Remote Start Activation Sequence: 
  The standard remote start activation procedure is pressing your factory remotes LOCK button 3X, but if you prefer, we can program the system to start by pressing LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK instead. If you think you would like this sequence better just use the drop-down menu provided during ordering.
  
  The most common reason to choose the "LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK" sequence is if your vehicle's remotes only beep the vehicle's horn when you press the lock or unlock twice (a.k.a. "silent choice") and silently locks or unlocks the doors with just one press, then choosing the LOCK, UNLOCK, LOCK remote start activation procedure will silently activate the remote starter without any horn confirmation.
   
• Quick Shut-Down Feature: 
  Change of plans and you're not going to leave just yet and don't need the remote starter to run for its full run time, you can quickly shut down the remote starter the same way you activated it.
   
• Optional Parking Lights ON While Running:
  A 1-Wire 3M style T-tap connection can be made (connectors included) for the parking lights to turn ON when running via the remote starter. Not a required connection.
   
• Plug and Play Upgrades Compatible:
  Can be plug & play upgraded with any of the Prestige or Pursuit Z-Series Long-Range remotes packages or the Voxx CarLink Smartphone control interface (each sold separately) at anytime during or after installation.
