APSRS-2LEDZ 2-Way Confirming Remote Starter Features

• Includes One 2-Way LED Remote Transceiver: 2-way confirming abilities will enable you to confirm successful remote starting of your vehicle, doors locked, unlocked, power trunk activation all within 1 MILE of your vehicle. The remote will flash the corresponding buttons LED and emit a slight beep in a pattern depending on the vehicle's status (Remote on the left in photo). 
   
• Includes a 2nd 1-Way Standard Remote: Controls all the standard features of the system from the same distance as the 2-way remote just without the 2-way confirmation. Chromed metal reinforced to withstand the daily wear & tear of hanging from your keychain (remote on the right in photo).
   
• Remote Keyless Entry: Remotely locks (and arms, see below) & unlocks (disarm) all your vehicles doors.
   
• NEW! All Entrance Alarm Protection Option*: If your vehicle didn't come equipped with a factory alarm system you can easy add one with just 1 extra wire** connection if you want. Alarm all your vehicle's doors with the system's OEM style security alarm option (offered during checkout). The system will utilize your vehicle's horn as a sounding device if any of the vehicle's doors are opened after being locked with one of the system's remotes. 

*Option cannot be turned on after installation, the system must be ordered with the alarm option pre-programmed ON or the control module would have to be sent back in for computer programming (additional service labor charges may apply). This option is not available to vehicle's already equipped with factory alarm systems.

**On most vehicle's; some vehicle's can require up to 4 additional connections when protecting all doors. If required extra inputs will be supplied.

• Safety 2-Press Remote Start Activation: The remote starter is activated by pressing the remote start button on the remote 2X within 3 seconds. This setting helps prevent any accidental activation that could occur with a single press activation setting.
   
• Parking Lights Confirmation: Visual confirmation that you activated the remote starter: The system will flash the vehicles parking lights 1X right after you activate the remote starter and then turn the parking lights on solid shortly afterwards to indicate that the vehicle is running via the remote starter.
   
• Pre-Heat/Pre-Cool Activation: Pre-setting your vehicle's heat settings prior to exiting your vehicle will enable you to pre-warm the interior and defrost the windshield when your vehicle is running via the remote starter. Same with the vehicle's AC, just pre-set the AC settings where you like it and it will pre-cool the interior on those hot days from it sitting in the sun.
   
• Multiple Remote Start Run Times: The system will be set-up for you with whatever run time you wish that's available: Your choices will be 5, 10, 15, 20, 45 or 60 minutes. You can order the system pre-set with any one of these times. 15 minutes is the industry standard. You can easily change the run time yourself anytime after installation.
   
• Quick-Stop Mode: A cool feature that allows you to keep the engine running without having to leave the keys in the ignition: While the engine is still running with the keys, you press the remote start button on the remote 2X and when you turn off the ignition and remove the keys the engine will remain running for the duration of the remote start run time.
   
• Safety Brake Pedal Shut-Down Input: Mandatory connection that will immediately shut down the remote starter system if you step on the vehicle's brake pedal before you put the key's into the ignition and turn the ignition on (a.k.a. "key-take-over" feature).
   
• Valet/Remote Start ON/OFF Mode: The system includes a valet mode where the remote starter feature can be temporarily turned off inhibiting the remotes from being able to activate the system.
   
• Windshield Mounted Antenna w/Built-In Programming/Valet Button & Status LED: Commonly mounted at the top inside center of the vehicle's windshield directly behind the rear-view mirror for optimal operating range. The antenna conveniently incorporates both the system's programming/valet button and status LED. This eliminates any hole drilling in the vehicle's dash and reduces the amount of wire's needed to be run under the dash during installation.
   
• Ignition Controlled Door Locks: Many newer vehicles on the road today have auto-locks which locks the vehicle's doors shortly after you begin to drive, if your vehicle is not equipped with this feature you can order the system to provide a similiar version: Auto-lock with ignition ON only, Auto-lock & unlock with ignition ON/OFF or just unlock doors with ignition OFF.
   
• Illuminated Entry: The system has the ability to automatically turn your vehicle's parking lights on for 30 seconds at the same time you unlock the vehicle's doors with one of the systems remotes. Feature offered during checkout.
   
• Power Trunk/Hatch/Back-Glass Activation: For vehicle's equipped with a power trunk or hatch release, just press & hold the remote's trunk icon button for over 3 seconds and it will separately pop open your vehicles trunk (or hatch).
   
• Multiple Remotes Capability: The system can be programmed to work with one or two additional remotes for a total of up to 4 remotes at the same time (additional remotes sold separately. Discounted remotes w/system purchase offered during checkout).
   
• Diesel Compatible/Adjustable Delay Timer: Programmable crank delay settings for Diesel engines. The system will be pre-set for you with any of the pre-set times available. Your choice of "wait-to-start" times are: 10, 15 or 20 seconds before crank to allow for proper glow-plug warming. You will be able to easily change this setting if need be after installation. Industry standard time is 15 seconds.
   
• Turbo Timer Mode: If your vehicle is equipped, this feature will keep the engine running to allow your vehicle’s turbo to properly cool down before shutting the engine off. The system has 3 turbo timer run times: 3, 5 and 10 minutes. Choice provided during checkout.

 LED Style Test Probe: 
No need for using awkward multi-meters that indicate voltage level's that can confuse polarity readings and require the use of two probes and a bare spot on the wire in order to take a reading. Each of our VSS kits includes an easy to use LED style test probe to use along with the VSS kits step-by-step vehicle specific installation manual. This test probe simplifies the procedure of testing for the correct wire in your vehicle by lighting a green or red LED to indicate the target wire's polarity (explained in each step of the vehicle specific install manual).

 Installation Connector Kit:
Each VSS system includes 3 different sizes of quick-connect "T-Tap" connectors with pre-crimped insulated male spade connectors on the ends of the system's wiring for making quick connections from the system to the vehicle's wiring. Also included are crimp cap connectors for connecting wires end-to-end and self-tapping screws with ground loop connectors for making chassis ground connections. Also supplied are nylon zip ties for securing wiring, control module and sensor under the dash.
