Its the installer's preference exactly where here puts it and he should have indicated this to you after he installed the system. But, in any case, the button is most definately mounted somewhere under the drivers side dash area or along the steering column, the most common place would be on the the drivers side lower left kick panel. S
ome have even been found just tucked behind some carpeting or behind a panel. After the programming button has been found:
1b: Open the drivers door and make sure the vehicles interior lights turn on. Within 10 seconds:
1c: Turn the vehicles ignition ON (Do not start the vehicle, just turn the ignition into the last position it can be in before actually starting the vehicle). Within 15 seconds the system will either sound 3 times, flash the dash or parking lights 3 times or cycle the door locks up and dowm 3 times (or a combination of the 3). After this is seen or heard, keep holding the programming button in. Within 10 seconds:
1d: Press & hold the top left button on the remote (Lock/Arm Button), within 1-3 seconds the system will sound, flash or cycle the door locks 1 time, after this is seen or heard, release the button on the remote (repeat 1D at this time for any additional remotes within 10 seconds). After all remotes have been programmed, release the programming button:
1e: Turn the ignition OFF and test remote(s) by slowly toggling back & forth from button to button. Done.
