Add-On Shock Sensor for Factory Installed Alarm Systems

This Impact Sensor is designed to trigger your vehicles factory alarm when a set amount of impact is made to your vehicle. The sensors sensitivity is easily adjustable from light to heavy "vibration" detection, with the additional option to also provide a light-impact warn away alarm. This sensor works on its built-in auto-timer that automatically turns the sensor ON once the vehicles ignition has been turned OFF and the factory alarm has been armed.

In addition, this sensor also includes a "surface" mounted (No drilling any holes in the dash) RED flashing LED that indicates that the sensor is ON. Also includes a built-in ON/OFF/VALET button for when you want to turn the sensor temporarily OFF.

TECH NOTE: How to be sure if your vehicle has a factory installed alarm system: Roll down the drivers door window. Exit and close the drivers door. Lock the vehicles doors using the factory remote. Allow at least 1-2 minutes to pass. Reach in through the open window and open the drivers door from the inside. If the vehicle has a factory alarm system, the vehicles horn will start pulsing OR another way is to open the vehicles hood, close all the vehicles door's and find the vehicles hood pin-switch commonly mounted on a bracket somewhere under the hood on the inner fender. Push down on the pin-switch and hold it down, then lock the doors with the factory remote, wait a minute or two then release the pin-switch. If the vehicle has a factory alarm system, the vehicles horn will start pulsing. If your vehicles horn does not sound, your vehicle is not equipped with a factory installed alarm system and we recommend the X1 system below to provide the features your looking for.
