Sentry Key Identification: All Vehicles with the Keyless Entry Remote integrated with the ignition key (Ex:1) including the newer "bladeless" keys and Standard Keys that are GRAY in color (Ex:2) have a transponder anti-theft (Sentry) key. Standard black headed keys do not have a transponder chip in the key and would not need the above bypass kit to install a remote starter system.
